Our Commitment to Your Health & Safety

At The Ivy Day Spa, your wellbeing is the foundation of everything we do. For over 20 years, guests across the Santa Clarita Valley have trusted us not just for relaxation, but for a clean, safe, and carefully maintained environment. That trust is something we work to earn every single day — and we want you to know exactly what stands behind it.

Our Standards, Year-Round

A genuine spa experience starts with knowing the space around you is cared for with the same attention you're about to receive. That's why we hold ourselves to standards that go beyond what's required.

Daily water testing. Our team tests jacuzzi water multiple times throughout the day, monitoring chemical balance to ensure it stays within healthy, compliant ranges at all times.

Licensed professional maintenance. Our jacuzzis are serviced on a regular schedule by a licensed pool maintenance company — professionals trained specifically in spa water systems, filtration, and sanitation.

Routine deep cleaning. Beyond our own daily care, a professional cleaning company performs regular deep cleans throughout our facility, addressing every space guests move through.

Trained, attentive staff. Our team is trained to watch for any sign of a cleanliness or water-quality concern and to act immediately — not wait for a scheduled check.

A Note on Shared Spaces

Anywhere people gather to relax together — jacuzzis especially — is a shared environment, and we believe in being transparent about what that means.

Guests sometimes come to us carrying the day with them: lotion, body oil, makeup, or hair product that hasn't fully rinsed away. We post clear signage by every jacuzzi asking guests to shower beforehand, and most do. But despite filtration and sanitation working continuously behind the scenes, it's possible for residue like this to occasionally become visible in the water.

When our team notices this, or any other water-quality concern, we don't wait — we take immediate action, which can include additional cleaning, filtration adjustments, or temporarily closing a jacuzzi for service. We'd rather pause and get it right than let a guest second-guess the water they're relaxing in.

How You Can Help

A few small habits go a long way toward keeping our shared spaces at their best for everyone:

  • Please shower before entering the jacuzzi — signage is posted as a reminder

  • Let a team member know immediately if you notice anything that doesn't look right

  • Avoid entering the water in heavy lotion, oil, or makeup when possible

Your Questions, Answered

Have a question we haven't covered?
Reach out to our team — we're always happy to talk through how we care for our space.

  • Multiple times daily. Our team checks chemical levels throughout the day to stay within proper health and safety ranges at all times.

  • A licensed, professional pool maintenance company services our jacuzzis on a regular schedule, in addition to our team's daily testing and care.

  • Spa jacuzzis are shared spaces, and residue from lotions, oils, or hair products can occasionally become visible despite filtration and sanitation. This isn't a sign of neglect — it's a known reality of shared water spaces, and one we actively manage. When it happens, we respond right away.

  • We act immediately. This may include extra cleaning, adjusting filtration or chemical balance, or closing the jacuzzi temporarily until it meets our standards again.

  • Beyond our daily housekeeping, a professional cleaning company performs deep cleans on a regular basis throughout the entire facility.

  • Please tell any team member right away. We'd genuinely rather know in the moment than have you leave with an unanswered concern.
